HI mommy,
This
week has been really good! transfers went pretty well at first it was a
little weird just because my old companion is just in the next room and
my new companion is someone i have lived with for the past 12 weeks but
still didnt know very well. but after the first day everything was
good! i really love sister ha. it has been fun getting to know her
better and seeing how she does missionary work, i think that has been my
favorite part of having so many different companions is i have been
able to see how many different ways there are to do missionary and one
way is not better then the other you just have to find a way that works
for you. Sister ha is nearing the end of her mission as well, she goes
home the transfer after me so we have been helping each other find ways
to make sure we both end our missions strong and its just been nice to
be able to talk to her about my fears and concerns about coming home and
she understands because she has them as well so we have been to help
each other with that as well!
This past week
we were able to meet with jessica and she is really progressing, this
was the first time she has real interest in actualy inviting her husband
to a church thing, normally she immediately says no because he hates
religion but when we invited her to the special sacrament meeting on the
23rd she said she wants her husband to come with her so she will find
the courage to ask him. so we shared with her the Esther mormon message
to help her keep that courage. she is so awesome and i am so excited for
her! and she also told us she wants her 9 year old sons to come to
church with her, they have been attending another church with one of her
friends but all that church teaches it them is about hell and she hates
it so she wants them to come to ours because she really likes that our
church focuses on the good and teaches ways to find happiness and she
wants her sons to learn that because she thinks that will help them more
then learning about hell.
we got a surprise
phone call this last week from our mission president telling us that
they were getting an extra greenie that was on the flight already to
korea so they had to change up some of the transfers so one of the
changes they were making were that me and sister ha were going to be
STLS. to be honest i was alittle nervous at first having my last
transfer be an stl but honestly now i think it will be great because it
will just give me something else to keep focused on so i dont get trunky
haha so i am excited to be able to do that as well this transfer!
