love you

awww give Raquel a big hug for me! im so sorry to hear that. i will keep her and sam and lainey in my prayers! i was actually wondering the other day if sny of them were going to get pregnant while i was gone! but they are allowed to get pregnant now since i will be home for this baby.

yeah i am sure getting a boy ready is so much cheaper haha all the permission stuff was so expensive and then even while you are on your mission you still spend money on clothes because you hate the clothes you wear all the time. at least for elders all they have to worry about is ties haha except lots of elders here spend lots of money on ties haha

This week has been good! we had Zone conference this past week and i learned alot.one thing my mission president wants the mission to work on is our language skills because a mission as a whole we arent doing very well so they talked a lot about that this conference. so one thing they challenged us to do is make a new language study plan and actually use it (i had one from my first transfer and never used it...) and they changed our language study to an hour for this transfer only!! so i did that this week and it has been great! just in the past week i have seen a big improvement in my korean! i wish i had been studying like that my whole mission! we had an appointment this past week with a member from another mission because she wanted to refer her son in laws cousin to us (and she needed a translator because the girl is from france and speaks little korean) so we went to lunch with them on Saturday and i was actually able to help translate what the member was saying to the french girl and then what she would say back. and a lot of the words they used were words i had just studied this past week. so had i not listened to my mission president and tried harder at studying i would have missed out on the chance! the girl was really sweet. she didnt know she was going to be meeting us when she came to the lunch. she thought it was going to be just the member but you could tell she was glad we were there to help both of them. we were able to talk to her a little about the church and how it started, and we walked over to the temple to show and talk a little about it. i dont know how interested she was but she was listening! she said she would love to meet us again and go grab some food sometime. we dont think she wants to meet us for the gospel part more as friends but we have to start somewhere right?!

i loved General Conference so much! yeah i was able to watch it in English the set up a room for the English speakers to be able to watch it. my poor companion watched the first two sessions in English but the last two sessions she was able to watch in Korean. Nicole one of our recent converts was my companion for one of the sessions and then another sister in the ward from Europe was my companion for the other session so that way my companion could actually understand everything that was said. it was such a neat thing to see President Nelson be sustained as the new prophet. i dont remember all that well when president monson was sustained so that was really neat. i was able to have a lot of prayers answered through conference, so i hope all of you did as well!

we have found a few new people this past week, but we havent meet with them yet, we have appointments with them all this week, so we are hoping some have more then just english interest!

our mission this transfer is also working on giving baptismal commitments so starting April 10th everyday we have to at least give one to either an investigator or practice with a member to become more comfortable at giving them, because to be honest i am not very good at it since all our investigators are English interest only, and i am scared that i will make them feel to much pressure and then hate missionaries all together. but as we practice this week i think ii will be able to learn how to do it without making them feel any pressure! so i am excited to work on that!!!

well i love you so much!!!!!!
