meetings for dayssss

wow i am so excited for hunter! it was the best feeling when we finally left the MTC cause then you actually feel like a missionary, except that whole plane ride you feel so scared but so excited at the same time. our flight was 13 hours i think, i cant remember. we had a layover in Seattle for a couple hours and then a straight flight to korea and that was 12 hours i think.... that was to long ago to remember i just remember that it was the most boring flight of my life!

this week has been crazy, but a different type of crazy! we got a phone call from the office a day before transfer day saying the other 2 sisters were coming that night, so we had to hurry and get everything packed for sister lee and then everything cleaned... we didnt have everything quite ready for 4 sisters so we worked hard to get it done before then! expect the AC in our house only reached one room so we were all dying of heat that night since that one room didnt fit two beds, but luckily the office already planned to give us another one so the next day we received another ac unit! we were all so happy!!! Sister fryer, is my new comp, she is so funny! we have had a lot of fun so far and the other two sisters are super funny as well so we have parties every night (as much as a missionary can hahah) it was actually one of their birthdays the day of transfer and since everything was so crazy she didnt really get a birthday so me and sister fryer decided to throw her a surprise party on night. so they told us they were going to be gone one night... but then they didnt leave so we had to come up with a way to kick them out so we faked a fight and told them that we needed to work it out so we needed them to leave (as we were cracking up laughing and hiding in the other room so they couldnt tell we were laughing) so they left and we hurry and made her brownies so when they got back we could yell surprise haha we thought we were funny, i dont know how funny they thought it was haha

this past week has consisted of a lot of meetings. we had a really long meeting because we are STLs and then more meetings since our district is the first people to try using the helping hands new English class in a church so we have been receiving a lot of training. none of us know what we are doing, but one of the requirements they have given us is that we have to fill up our own classes so we are working hard trying to tell everyone about these classes, our goal is to start our first one next week!!! wish us luck hahah the plan is if we can make it work here then they will start to do it in other churches, so no pressure on our part haha but it was bun fun so far, we have really learned a lot and  have already made lots of mistakes that we have learned a lot from, but we really hope to see success!!!

well sorry this email is a bunch of random stuff but nothing too exciting happened! love you so much!!

oh and i got the package and loved it thank you so much!!!!!

M-So you liked the random package???
A-haha it cracked me up, especially the random empty target bag at the bottom!! but everything was so cute!
haha its okay i miss target so at least i could see the bag again! oh yeah and i forgot my MTC teachers family is in my ward right now and him and his siblings (who are also teachers) came to town yesterday and i saw them all at church and it was the best thing ever because in the MTC i never knew what they were saying to me but this time i was able to hold conversations wtih them and i could understand them and they understood me! it was so cool to see the progress i have made the past year!!!!!
M- See that is so cool. And pretty neat that you could run into them. Pretty small world in the church
A-especially in korea! did hunter tell you that he was able to listen to my first test i took in the MTC......? no its okay i have actaully discovered that if you put in some red pepper sauce (to make it spicy) and eat it with kimchi it actaully tastes really good!
H-Thanks alyssa! :) I read this email earlier this week and it meant a lot! It really did! i cant even imagine learning Korean! thats crazy! You know those verbal LSA tests they have you take here? I thought i did really bad, but luckil my teacher listened with me on the ones i did ok at! she said i had the vocab part down and that i just need to work on the sentence structure now! When she searched my name on the computer for my test yours was there too and she let me hear your first one and lets just say i know youre telling the truth now ;) Just kidding it seemed good but i had no idea what you were saying haha

This week was great!

Elder Hemenway

this is what he sent me! so thats embarrassing but i am also glad that he is able to see that i am not lying when i say that i really struggled to learn it haha
haha and good thing he had no idea what i was saying so that didnt matter! but yeah i hated those test cause they asked really hard questions, one wanted us to explain to someone how the presithood was different in our church then theirs and all i knew was priesthood in korean hahahhahhahahaha oh man i am sure glad i have learned more
yeah its been insanely hot, i have never seen sweat roll off my whole body before until this past week, i looked down and saw it roll of my legs.....
we are going to another area, my comp and one of the other sisters have to practice a  song they are singing for when Elder Stevenson comes next week, but i am excited because sister Bridge will be there and we cann talk!
