well its your irthday here in korea so that means you get to birthdays!
this
week has been good! our investigator got baptized on Saturday and it
was so great! my first baptism were nothing went wrong haaa lets just
say that i said a lot of prayers leading up to it that everything would
go good! when we were in the bathroom helping her get ready after te
baptism part we asked her how she felt and she said that as soon as she
came out of the water she felt instant peace and she loved that
feeling! and ssaid she felt it even more after she received the holy
ghost on Sunday! she is so cute and i hope se always remembers that day
and the feelings she felt!
crazy story for
you: yesterday while we were doing online 전도 we were messaging a bunch
of people from our phone on kakao talk just saying hi (must just ask who
we are and how we got their number) but on lady she knew who we are and
asked how we were doing so we asked how she has been doing, she said
she has been in a lot of pain, so we asked if there was anything we
could help her with, and she said she is trying to just get her place
cleaned up so we said we could help but she fel bad and said i was okay
and that she had cats so she wouldn't want us to but we said it was okay
and cats dont bother us (even though i am allergic haha) so she said
okay and sent te address and we went right then. well in our heads we
thought she had 2 or 3 cats but nope we were wrong. she opened the door
and she was in a wheel chair and behind her i see about 10 cats and
then we walk further in te house and theres even more. i dont know the
exact number but she has over 20! she is a really sweet lady who rescues
special needs cats and helps them back to health and then finds
families for them. but it turns out she meet missionaries a few years
ago on the street and came to church a couple times to the english ranch
in the seoul south mission but could never find out church uilidng in
our area. she knew alot about the church and said she loves the church
and the atmosphere it has. i think she just needed someone to talk to
because she told us her whole life story and then told us that we are
the first people she has ever let in to her house but for some reason
felt like she could trust us. we hope to keep working with her and to
get her to coming back to our church.
to
