9 months later

How in the world did i make it to  9 months, i have honestly no idea. when i realize its April on sunday i cant believe it because i still think its 2017 haha but i can honestly say that i am so incredibly grateful for the last 9 months. they have been the hardest months of my life and i dont think i have ever been so tired in my whole life but i have never been so grateful in my life. i am definitely not the same person who left arizona 9 months ago and am excited for these last nine months as i continue to serve the peope here in korea and to continue to strengthen my testimony and grow closer to my father in heaven!

Transfer calls on Saturday: i am staying in Sinchon!!!!!!!! i figured i would because my companions going home but part of me was a little scared they would whitewash. my new companion is sister Yoo. she is also korean ***i think president thinks i need to learn how to be a patient person because the 2 hardest companions in the mission, i have already been with one and i am about to be with the other. all of her companions have struggled with her.*** she was in my zone my first transfer so i have gone on exchanges with her. but im excited to see what we can do together to help wake up sinchon again!!!

we have been super busy this week! since sister hwang is leaving this week almost all of our investigators wanted to see her before she left so we had appointments after appointments almost all week, so this week went by SUPER fast and it will this week to i think because we still have people to see before she goes and then all of them want to meet my new companion so this week will be ful of appointments as well! and we had so many meals with people last week, we had 6 meals in a row......... but the food was all really good so i wont complain haha i can just lose weight after the mission right!?! hahah

a cool experience i had on the bus this week. so the bus was full so we were just standing and a lad got on the bus and there was a one more open seat so she sat down and i felt like i needed to talk to her but there was no way i could because there was no seat near her and i couldn't stand over there because the walk way is super small right there but at the next stop the guy siting next to her got off so i hurry and went and sat next to her and started the the regular conversation i have with most people. she asked me how long i had been in korea and didnt believe me when i said 7 months because she said my korean was too good fro only 7 months and not knowing any before that. so i explained that i was a missionary here and that was a promise god makes to his missionaries that we can learn the language fast. so we started talking about church and i told her our church name and she had never heard of it so i explained what we taught then i asked if she heard of 몰몬교 (mormon church) which i hate asking people because that name has such a bad rep here but i didnt anyway and she said she had. she meet missionaries when she was in college and even met with them once (she was an older lady) i was like really?!?! thats our other name. so then we got talking about that and she told me she reads the bible so i introduced the book of Mormon to her and she was really excited to take one home! before she got off the bus she even showed sister hwang that she got a present haha i dont know what happened to here since then but it was cool to at least lay a seed down in someones heart!!!

this week will be weird having to say goodbye to half my district, it been fun having 3 trunkie missionaries in one district because all of their real personalities have come out and its been funny to watch!  but it will be fun to meet 3 new missionaries coming in!!

love you so much and loved all your pictures!!! have a great week!!

i told my companion a few weeks ago that i know that i am getting a hard companion because last time i had a good companion i got a really stressful one so i said its going to happen again so when we got the calls and i found out who it was we both looked at each other and i was like see i told you!!!! hahah but i think it will be okay i dont think anyone can be as bad as my last one

haha when i talked to my district leader and the temple missionary they all told me that he will love that misson. that its really nice. its really hot so he will be always tan. and he will be eatinga  lot of mangos haha
