haha so someone is in tune with the spirit! and i know i dont have to
write you but i would always much rather write the family
then my friends haha i think you start to really appreciate you family
more when you cant call them all the time. i mean i always appreciated
you guys but its different on a mission. im sure you know what i mean!
Family is so important!
i wish everyone could understand and
appreciate the restored Gospel as much as they should, it really is
amazing! i had actually never thought about that with the law of
chastity, so thanks for sharing!

Hello beautiful child,
OK. This week felt like a million
years!!! I am not sure why time has slowed down so much, but it has
come to a complete standstill!! This week will be even worse because the
school has gone on a block schedule for the week (so we get
each class for 2 hours at a time - Awesome!). Sorry that this is
starting out so negative, but...
Anyhow other than that things are
good. I am teaching Mission Prep today about the restoration. I don’t
think we always recognize how much we have with the restoration. We
have just always had it so we forget how amazing it is. Just
the knowledge and understanding we have about the family is significant
enough, but it is all so important. Today in Sunday School they were
talking about the Armor go God and went through each part of the armor.
I have always thought it was interesting
the “loins” are “girt with truth.” I didn’t understand that for the
longest time. I understood that the loins were a representation of the
law of Chastity, but what does truth have to do with protecting us? Now
it makes sense with how the world views chastity
and how much understanding the truth of things protects us. It has
really only been the last few years that it has been so significant, and
yet that quote goes back to New Testament times. Having a prophet is
so important to make sure that we are on the
right track and understand what the Lord would have us do. We have
everything we need to not only make it back to live with God, but to
know how to find happiness in this life. We forget that most people
don’t have access to that knowledge and have to trust
what others say about it even though those opinions change drastically
from person to person and from one time period to the next. Never take
for granted the restored gospel!! We are so lucky!!
Well, I will let you go. Remember,
you don’t have to write me back specifically. I get moms emails too so
you can save yourself some time when you are busy!!!
Love,
Dad
