5 months down!

sorry for the late email, our pday is moved till tomorrow because this morning we were able to go and help make kimchi for a couple hours so we are just getting back to our area! it was so much fun to be able to see how its made, but man does it make a huge mess! i had red sauce on everything so luckily they warned us a head of time and we wore clothes that it didnt matter if they got dirty! 

this week was a little rough with transfers, its weird not being with Sister lynn anymore but its good! Sister stringham is really nice and really patient with me. she is really good at korean and she told me its her goal by the end of this transfer to help me make mine better. whenever we go anywhere now while we are walking she makes me practice words and sentences and then ever night we review what we had talked about that day, so thats been nice! 

i discovered this week that i have anxiety, so that wasnt that fun haha but im okay! the past few weeks i kept getting this pressure on my chest and just felt like i wanted to go home and no matter how hard i prayed it wouldnt leave. well this week it got bad and i felt like i couldnt breathe but i felt like i needed a blessing. so i finally talked to my companion about it and we called president to see if the elders could give me one and he said of course and then wanted me to call sister sonksen to talk with her for a bit . so i did and she told me that its anxiety that i was feeling, which that never even crossed my mind. so she talked with me for a bit. afterwards my companion and i read a talk from the liahona that talks about not letting satan know our thoughts, i felt a lot better afterwards. then that night the elders gave me a blessing and it was exactly what i needed. it talked about things we had talked about that morning and it finally gave me that peace that i had been wanting for the past few weeks. so i think finally talking about it made me feel a lot better! 

not a lot has happened with our investigators this week because most of our lessons were sister stringham introducing herself, so there wasnt a whole lot of progression. 

oh that video you saw was the mission choir signing at starlight. our stake put on a music night and it was super fun! we almost got Catherine to come with us but then it was pouring outside and she thought it would be to dangerous (she has a bad leg) so she deicdied not to come, which was sad but i understand! 

im so glad you guys had a good thanksgiving! i loved all the pictures, its so nice to see all the family together! everyone looks like they are doing well. and the pictures from heathers reception are so cute! shes such a cute bride! 

i didnt know that Sara was korean, thats crazy! thats cool about her brother, i hope my korean becomes that good haha but i understand where he is coming from with the food and the bed. this past week i got two mats rather then one and i couldnt sleep very well because it was too soft haha and this past week we were running around a lot so for lunch we had lotteria its a fast food place and i felt so sick after because of the grease, so that crossed my mind about whats going to happen when i come home and have to eat more processed food. i guess ill find out in 13 months! haha

yeah i know the family has it a lot but i never thought about me having it haha but sister sonksen said its normal for missionaries in tehir 3rd of 4th transfer to get it, especially when it runs in their family!

i was sad cause i thought you would be asleep! sorry you had to wait up so late! 

yeah thats what i have been doing. since the blessing i havent really had it but im sure it will come back!

dang im jealous i miss just being able to sit around doing nothing but watch a movie or tv haha 

yeah we actually had a few dinner appointments this past week. one with bishop and his family so they could say bye to the leaving missionaries and one with one of the stake presidency members because he is in our ward because he wanted to meet the new missionaries!
