a week of running around

Oooooooohhhhhhh my goodness!!!!!!!!!! im freaking out right now!!!!!!! im in love with baby Logan and I havent even meet him yet! CONGRATS JORDYN you make beautiful babies! I think I annoyed my companions all week because everyday I would say “i wonder if my sister had her baby yet?!” and then she did!!! yayayayay

I dont even know where to start for this week, it felt like the quickest week of my life, we were so busy. By the time last night rolled a round we really wanted to go to bed but we had to wait till at least 9:30....
so we go streetboarding a lot because it actually works pretty well cause people dont think its weird to go up and talk to them if it looks like we have a reason to, but this week we decided to do a free lemonade stand and it was so much fun! It didnt work as well as we wanted it to because we decided to do it right out side of a subway station so people we were running past us, but it was still fun! We still had a couple cups left over near the end and the elders said we had to give them all away before we could be done and we had an appointment soon so when the elders werent looking we all grabbed the rest of the cups and drank them really fast and said okay we are done! And then left to the appointment haha
Every tuesday for service we go to a girls middle school and teach 7-8 girls english along with their teacher and her son. All the girls have rough situations at home so the teacher put this together so they have has much chance as everyone else to learn english (their enlgish is pretty good too!) but tuesday was our last day teaching them because they have exams coming up that they have to study for ( korean schools are insane here) so we were so sad to have to say goodbye to all of them, they are all so cute!!!
Funny/ creepy story for you all. On wednesday we teach a different English class and there are some interesting people that come (a few of them have special needs) and this time there was a guy I think in his 40s who came for the first time and the first thing he said to me was that I was very pretty and then that my eyes were very impressive so I said thank you and walked into the room. Well he came into my class that night and we were going over vocab and one of the words was “glow” so he turns to me and says “i think you eyes glow” so I say thank you again. Well then things got weird because a few words later was “blush” so he turns to me again and says “you blush when you see naked men” I was like uuuuuuhhhh what?! Elder whites face dropped and I hurry and changed the subject and went stright back to the Vocab and acted like I didnt hear what he said and tried not to make eye contact with him the rest of the class. We couldnt stop laughing about it all night though!
Oh guess what?! LUNA GOT BAPTIZED!! it was a very stressful day.
Ok story time
so the baptism was at 5 and englsih class ended at 4:30 and we invited them all to stay and watch it so some of them did. At 4:40 one of them asks the elders where this takes place, so the Elders turn around and realize the baptismal font has no water in it so they come running into us cause we were finishin g last minute things and ask if we started the water..... and all of us are like oh crap so we all run to turn the water on because the baptism was starting soon and the water takes a while to fill. So we were running around trying to buckets to fill water with to dump in the font but all we could find was a mop bucket and dust pans and we thought that would look really bad so we didnt know what else to do so we decided to pray. So we prayed in the broom closet that the water would fill faster and everything would work out because we really wanted this to be a day to remember for luna. We walked out of the room and one of the elders were on the phone with the brother who was going to baptism her and he said “its a miracle, hes stuck in a traffic jam and wont be here for a nother 20-30 mins” that brought so much peace into my heart. Because that meant the water would almost be done. Almost everyone was late and didnt get there till 5:30 you could tell some people were annoyed because it was supposed to start 30 mins ago but us missionaries knew that they were late because we prayed everything would work out. We knew it was a miracle not something to be annoyed about.by the time the actual baptism took place, there was just enough water. And a great experience for Luna she said she felt so much peace and felt new and refreshed. So we were so happy, it made all the stress before hand worth it! I know Heavenly Father answered our pray, it wasnt how we thought it was going to, the water didnt fill up quicker but it all worked out which was a huge blessing and miracle!
Then on Sunday sacrament has started but Luna wasnt there so then we started freaking out because she was supposed to receive the gift of the holy ghost that do so we were in the hall freaking out trying to call her but nothing. We didnt know what else to do so we went back and took out seats. 30 mins later she walked in looking really tired. So we asked what was wrong. Her parents are in Vegas right now but her mom is flying back right then because she got really sick and has to go to the hospital so she had spent the whole night and morning trying to figure out how to help her mom when she lands. So we felt bad for freakingout because she had a really good reason. The bishop let her get the holy ghost after all the talks and after she said she felt really good and knew everything was going to be okay.
It was a busy and stressful week but it was a good week!
I hope everyone has a good week and know that you have someone in korea loving you and praying for you! I hope you get to love every moment with baby logan cause im realllllll jealous!

Love
