This
week was pretty good, we were able to see a couple miracles! last
monday night when we were leaving the military base the senior couple
was checking us out so we could leave when one of the security guards
starts talking to us and says he went to utah a couple years ago to
visit his friend and the mormons there were so nice to him, he really
liked our church. so he told us he was wondering where our church is
here because he wants to come so i was able to tell him where and when
it was and he said he would come. well i didnt have any passalong cards
on me so we just left but right when i got in the car i felt that i need
to go back and give him my number so i hurry and grabbed a paper and
wrote it down and ran back to him, by the time we got home that night i
got a text from him telling me he will come next week! so we are hoping
he will!
Another big miracle is the past few
weeks jessica hadnt really been progressing and it seemed like her
interest in the church was gone so we didnt really know what to do, but
this past week we invited a member who has become pretty good friends
with jessica, and that was the best thing we could have done, having the
member there jessica opened up about all of her concerns and worries
about baptism and becoming a member and we were able to address all of
them! at the end the light was back in her eyes!!! she still told us she
isnt ready to set a date but she really wants to come to church this
week! and GUESS WHAT?!?! SHE DID~~ after months of inviting and months
of her declining she finally came! we werent able to be there with her
because we had another investigator attending the branch and she doesnt
know anyone there so we went there with her and the member stayed with
jessica. but after church we texted her and she said she really liked
church and learned how important our decisions are that they can effect
the rest of our lives. i am so happy that she liked church!!
