this past week has been
good, it was hard daying goodbye to my old companion since she was going
home but when i hugged her goodbye she was like "see you in 12 weeks"
and i about died i forget that i haven been on my mission for as long as
i have! my new companion is good her name is sister lee or korean name
이다경 she is really funny. there have been moments where is has been hard
because of the language barrier because my korean isnt perfect and her
english isnt perfect but we are trying our best to work around it. we
both came to korea together so it has been fun catching up with her and
seeing how much each of us has grown. and its crazy cause when we were
in the MTC i didnt understand her and she didnt understand me but now i
can hold a conversation with her so yay for improvement!
this
past week was dedicated pretty much to the ward Halloween party, and in
case you forgot from last year Halloween really isnt a thing here so
the ward makes the missionaries plan and decorate everything which was a
little hard this time around because of transfers right before the
party but overall it went well. we actually had a lot of nonmembers
there so that was awesome and we had a potential investigator from my
area up north come down here for it and she was able to get to know some
of the members and other investigators here! we were a little sad
though because not very members came so it was mostly just the
nonmembers. but the members that did come really got to know all our
investigators so that was good! and out relief society president made
the cutest food stuff! dont worry i have pictures!
other
then that nothing to exciting happened we just either spent the week
getting sister rhodes ready to leave and say goodbye to everyone or
doing halloween stuff! but i am glad you all had a great week!!!
