this week has been good, to be
honest i cant even really remember what happened, nothing insanely crazy
happened this week for the first time in like a transfer to maybe thats
why i cant remember haha
but you asked about
my investigator who actually has gospel interest, we arent so sure she
has really interest anymore. we feel like she wants to learn just to
learn about the religion to see why people think we are a cult. she has
an open mind but only to the things that are similar to what she has
learned before. whenever we met with her its always like 2 or 3 hours.
so this last week it was 2 hours and it started off good but then we
taught the 1st vision and she noticed that we believe in 2 separate
beings and then it took a wrong turn. she went off for another hour
about who knows what. we kind off got lost because she started talking
in really fast korean.... so that was fun, but we will still try with
her but maybe keep it simple and short lesson times so we can better
control the lesson because once she starts talking we lose the lesson.
But
we have another really cute investigator, the elders found her for us
and she is the cutest thing ever. she owns a kimbab restaurant right
next to the church. she wants to learn English but really wants to learn
about the church as well. she has no religious background so she doesnt
even know who God and Jesus Christ are, so its a little harder to teach
someone with no background at all so this week we have focused only on
developing her faith there. she has really opened up to us about it, she
said its really hard to have faith when she cant see them so we shared
that we dont have to see them to have faith that as you keep learning
and keep praying you will be able to feel their presence! she really
wants to strengthen her relationship with her family so we are focusing
on how she can do that as she gains faith! she is the best!!!!
our
english classes have been going really well, we gained 16 new student
this week so we are hoping all of them coming back so i think right now
we have a little over 50 or 60 people in our classes and almost all of
them stay to hear our message!!! its awesome how many people are willing
to talk to you when they cant see our name tags or we dont force them
to stay and listen! this program will really do amazing things here in
korea.
we get transfer calls on Saturday, i am
praying that i stay here and stay with sister fryer along with the other
sisters, i love them all so much. actually we are all hoping our whole
district stays!

yeah thats what i am thinking, i seem to only stay in areas for 3
transfers and i am at the end of my 3rd here. my district thinks i will
move to another area because one of the areas doesnt have sister teams
and thats where the next english classes are going so they think ill go
there.
HUNTER has 2 hour email time. WHAT?!?!? i am so jealous!! well actually no one emails me anymore
except for you and dad and jennie so i guess i dont need two hours. next
week i start my 10th transfer and i will be doing 12 transfers
Mom - you told Jennie you were going to North Korea today?
Alyssa - yeah thats why we moved our pday to today haha we arent going to north
korea we are going to see north korea! we got permission to go to the
DMZ!!! and i loved hunters email!!!!!! he sounds like he really loves it
and i am really jealous that he already has a baptismal date hahaah
yeah its the border area that has all the security there and they have a
house there that the north and south Korean president meet in when they
have meetings we are so excited! yeah all of us where really tired of
just shopping on pdays so we decided to ask my president if we could
move our pday to go and see different things because all of the cool
things are closed on mondays....
Mom - I am glad he let's you go see things. I posted a video
of the people meeting each other so that is probably where they met, it
was so sad. They are all over 80 seeing their family members they have
been separated from. Alyssa I cant wait to hear all your stories.

yeah its really cool hearing their stories when you meet someone from their, they are really sweet and humble people!
i am actaully really sad how close the end is coming, it will be here before i know it!

i am not looking forward to it especially once all the holidays start
