this week has been good, honestly not anything
exciting happened this pas week so this email will probably be really
boring haha but we had a meal appointment with members in our ward
almost everyday last week so i feel like i have gained 10 pounds since
last Monday! the food was all really good so it was worth it, they just
feed you so much! after one meal we got home and just laid on the floor
for a few minutes to let the food digest! and then we had another meal
appointment a few hours after that, we thought we were going to die
hahah
we were able to meet with 2 new
investigators this week, they both meet us to learn English but one of
them seemed to really like the message we shared about the church. she
seems open to learn about the church! she is the one who randomly
messaged us a few weeks ago! it turns out we had talked to her on the
train about a month ago and gave her a pass along card, but neither or
remembered it. almost no one calls us from the pass along card so it was
cool to see it actually worked!!
yeah i
bought some new dresses and a shirt and cardigan, we went to a shopping
market called 남대문 its apparently really famous here, but everything is
super cheap there. i got everything for less then 30,000 won or $30! you
would like all the markets here if you liked the market you just went
to! they have them everywhere, except some stuff are way more expensive
then others so you have to be careful before you buy something!
im
so excited to see where hunter goes! but im sad i cant be there and
have to wait till next monday to find out! i remember how stressed i was
waiting for that call o come! which by the way was a year ago last
Saturday! crazy how fast time goes right?!?!?!?!

yeah i am sure arizona is colder then korea! haha it has actually been really warm this week, there were even days where i thought i wouldnt need to wear a coat just a jacket! but im still a wimp so i wore the coat haha\
our recent convert loves the book of mormon and has been trying to
read it the best she can even though she doesnt understand it very well.
whenever we met her and asked her what she did that day she would
always say that she read the book of mormon. well
this past week we had a member give us one of those book of mormon
stories books to give to anyone and we decided to give it to her. we
gave it to her on friday night and when we saw her on sunday morning,
she told us she read THE WHOLE THING! and she loved
it! she said she understood it and even in sunday school our teacher
was telling one of the stories in the book of mormon and she turned to
us and quoted part of the story! we were so caught of guard because not
only did she read it but she study it. it was
a good reminder for me to see that while yes i know he book of mormon
stories and when i read it i understand them, but am i really studying
them or am i just reading them?
im glad to hear the sickness is all gone and i am glad to hear you
liked the package, it was actually way cheaper to send a small package
then i thought!
