i cant remember if last week i told you about the new
investigator we picked up, her name is 유미자 (veronica). well we had
taught her for the first time this week and the lesson was sooooo good!
she brought her husband with her, which to be honest i was a little
nervous when i saw him. we didnt know if he was okay that she was
meeting with us so we didnt know if he was going to attack on the things
we taught her because they are catholic. but the lesson was so goo and
he was so nice! his name is Paul, he didnt tell us his korean name, and
he speaks really good English, like he taught her better then we did so
we dont know why he doesnt teach her but oh well haha well we taught
them the first lesson (the restoration) but she wanted us to teach it in
English so her husband translated for us, which made it so cool because
while he was translating it you could tell that he was realizing the
truthfullness of what we were saying, the spirit was so strong in that
room, i have neever felt it so strong in my life. and then we told them
the first vision story and pulled out the pamphlet to show them the
picture of it, i wish you could have seen their faces, they looked so
amazed that something like that could happen. he immediately asked if he
could have the pamphlet so of course we gave it to them! then we taught
them about the book of Mormon and they thought it was so cool and were
really excited when we gave them one, they told us they were going to
read it that night. we are so excited to see how they are going to
progress! the lord has really prepared them, i know it!
and
to answer your question, we try our best to visit less actives but it
doesnt always happen. we like baking them a cake and writing them a note
but usually when we go to their houses, either they dont let us in (in
almost all the apartments you have to get rung in and when you try to
get in they show inside the apartment whos at the door, so they can see
if they want to ring you in) or they arent home. but thats cool that you
guys are trying to visit them. keep doing that, it means more to them
if members reach out to them then if missionaries. we had a less active
last week tell the elders he would rather have members come to his house
then missionaries because missionaries are always changing so he doesnt
want to form relationships with them,. so keep visiting them!
ANd
i want to hear about hunters stories!!! thats so cool, i wish i did
more missionary work before my mission! and thats cool you have your
friend back! i see her nephew every once in a while, hes not in my zone
so i only see him if theres a misison thing at the mission office, but
he seems to be doing good!
sorry this email is short there wasnt a whole lot of other cool stories to tell haha
but i hope you have a great week this week, love you sooooooo much!!

Hemenway 자매
we are normally really busy on pdays but last week we wanted it more
relaxing then crazy. today we are going to see the palace, so lauren is
coming with us and we are going to rent the tradtional dresses to wear
to it!
yeah it will be crazy, it borders ours, it takes 30mins to
walk to from our church building so its not to far, but we will have to
juggle our investigators and theirs, our district and theirs, our ward
and theirs so it will be fun. its call 장위
we got bored last pday and some how my companion convinced me haha thats
cause i dont do my hair at all anymore, like i dont even straighten it.
i try and only blow dry it twice a week and all the other days i just
let it air dry. so in the pics if it ever looks weird its pry cause i
just let it do what it wanted haha
we had another dinner with Catherine
one of the members from our
english class was meeting the elders at the church last pday but they
were running late so he went to the store with us while he waited
